Tras el éxito cosechado en el Real Casino de Murcia, la escultora Anabel del Canto presenta la segunda edición de su aclamada muestra artística bajo el título “No va más 2”, en esta ocasión en el Centro de Artesanía de Murcia. La exposición, que podrá visitarse de forma gratuita, supone un brillante homenaje a la tradición artesana y a la simbiosis entre el arte contemporáneo y los oficios históricos.
La obra de Anabel del Canto, caracterizada por la técnica ancestral del esmalte al fuego sobre metal, vuelve a deslumbrar con piezas cargadas de luz, color y simbolismo. La artista, con más de 45 años de trayectoria profesional, trabaja sobre planchas de cobre en las que el cristal fundido a 900 grados da vida a composiciones vibrantes y únicas, en las que confluyen técnica, pasión y memoria.
“No va más 2” mantiene la esencia de su primera edición, dedicada a los espacios y detalles del Real Casino de Murcia, pero incorpora nuevas piezas y colaboraciones con otros creadores del ámbito de la joyería, la moda, la orfebrería y las artes decorativas, generando un diálogo multidisciplinar que pone en valor el trabajo artesanal en todas sus expresiones.
La muestra constituye, además, un testimonio emotivo de la continuidad de los oficios, pues parte de las herramientas empleadas por la artista pertenecieron a una artesana ya fallecida, madre de Jesús y Juan Antonio Megías, lo que otorga a las piezas un componente de legado, historia y conexión con el pasado.
“No va más 2” podrá visitarse en el Centro de Artesanía de Murcia desde el 7 de abril hasta el 7 de mayo de 2025, en horario de apertura habitual del centro.
