El Ayuntamiento de Cartagena ha acogido el jueves 11 de abril la entrega de diplomas SICTED al Compromiso de Calidad Turística, donde el Centro Regional de Artesanía de Cartagena también ha sido distinguido. En el evento estuvieron presentes la alcaldesa, Noelia Arroyo, la concejal delegada de Turismo, Beatriz Sánchez, y el director general de Competitividad y Calidad Turística, Patricio Sánchez.
El Centro Regional de Artesanía de Cartagena recibió el certificado SICTED al Compromiso de Calidad Turística. En total, 74 empresas y servicios de Cartagena renovaron su distintivo SICTED, mientras que 18 recibieron una nueva distinción. La entrega de los diplomas fue un reconocimiento al valor que estas entidades agregan a la ciudad y a su plan estratégico de turismo.
El SICTED proporciona un sistema de gestión y mejora de la calidad a las empresas turísticas. Para obtener o mantener el distintivo de “Compromiso de Calidad Turística”, se requiere la realización de diversas actividades anuales, como formación, implementación de buenas prácticas y evaluaciones externas.
