El consejero Marín destaca “la profesionalidad de los artesanos de la Región, que trabajan para mantener vivas las tradiciones, a la vez que realizan nuevos productos que compiten en un mundo globalizado”
El consejero de Economía, Hacienda y Empresa, Luis Alberto Marín, preside los Premios Regionales de Artesanía
El Gobierno regional ha distinguido a la maestra artesana Rosa López Torres con el Premio Regional de Artesanía 2023, galardón que se entregó hoy en la gala celebrada en el Centro Regional de Artesanía de Murcia, junto a los premiados de diferentes categorías. Con esta distinción se reconocen los 28 años de oficio que Rosa López ha dedicado a realizar su arte en seda.
El consejero de Economía, Hacienda y Empresa, Luis Alberto Marín, presidió la gala, organizada por la Dirección General de Impulso al Comercio, Innovación Empresarial e Industrias y Oficios Artesanales. Marín agradeció a Rosa López su trabajo artesano y resaltó “su labor investigadora sobre nuestra historia en la seda, actividad que se convirtió en un pilar básico de la economía murciana a largo de los siglos XVIII y XIX”.
Asimismo, felicitó a los galardonados y destacó “el trabajo de nuestros artesanos, su profesionalidad, su dedicación y sus ganas de innovar”. “Con su magnífico trabajo, los artesanos de la Región de Murcia nos hacen sentir orgullosos de lo que se realiza en nuestra tierra. Profesionales que siguen luchando por mantener vivas nuestras tradiciones, a la vez que realizan nuevos productos que compiten perfectamente en un mundo globalizado dando carácter y personalidad a sus creaciones, por lo que desde el Gobierno regional seguiremos apoyando a este sector para conseguir dar mayor visibilidad a la artesanía regional”, añadió.
Los Premios Regionales de Artesanía son el reconocimiento institucional al más alto nivel para aquellas actuaciones reconocidas como excelentes en el campo de la artesanía regional, impulsando el desarrollo y la competitividad del sector artesano, además de incentivar la innovación, el diseño y la capacidad de adaptación al mercado.
El objetivo de estos galardones es “prestigiar la artesanía, presentándola en un entorno de calidad y excelencia, reconocer los méritos de aquellos artesanos y empresas que conserven las características intrínsecas de tradición, destaquen por su creatividad, responsabilidad social y medioambiental, su adaptación al mercado y capacidad de innovación, incentivando el emprendimiento empresarial”, explicó Marín.
El resto de premiados en 2023 han sido el Premio Producto Artesano, que ha recaído en Carlos Jiménez Cenamor, por su colección de porcelana ‘De lo posible a lo deseable’, y el Premio al Emprendimiento Artesano, para Confituras Tradicionales, distinguiendo las mermeladas tradicionales elaboradas por los hermanos Mari Paz y Francisco Fernández.
Asimismo, han sido galardonados con el Premio Promociona Artesanía para Entidades Privadas, la entidad Ruralmur, así como con el Premio Promociona Artesanía para Entidades Públicas para el Ayuntamiento de Murcia. Ambos por su apoyo decidido a la artesanía.
El Premio Belén Artesano ha recaído en María del Mar Blázquez por su proyecto ‘Nacimiento Salzillesco’, una réplica de un nacimiento de Salzillo; mientras que el Premio de Artesanía de Alimentación ha sido para el panadero artesanal Francisco Javier Moreno. Por último, Pilar Moreno Monreal ha recibido el Premio Nuevos Talentos por su proyecto ‘Wave’, una colección de lámparas de mesa.
El Premio Regional de Artesanía está dotado con 3.000 euros y el resto de categorías cuentan con un premio de 1.500 euros, excepto el Premio Promociona Artesanía para Entidades Públicas, que no tiene dotación económica. En esta edición se han presentado un total de 23 candidaturas.
