La Consejería de Empresa informa al Consejo Asesor Regional de Artesanía sobre los avances del decreto que regulará los sellos de calidad de la UE, que garantizan el verdadero origen del producto
El Consejo Asesor aprueba la actualización del Repertorio de Oficios con la incorporación del elaborador de Kombucha y otorga la distinción de Maestro Artesano Honorífico a Francisco Salas
El Consejo Asesor Regional de Artesanía, presidido por la consejera de Empresa, Empleo y Economía Social, Marisa López Aragón, abordó hoy una batería de medidas dirigidas a reforzar la protección del producto artesano de la Región de Murcia, entre las que destaca el impulso a las Indicaciones Geográficas Protegidas (IGP), un sello de calidad de la Unión Europea que brinda protección a productos de una zona concreta y garantiza el verdadero origen del producto.
Durante la sesión celebrada en el Centro Regional de Artesanía de Murcia, se informó sobre los avances del decreto en el que trabaja actualmente la Consejería de Empresa, a través de la Dirección General de Impulso al Comercio, Innovación Empresarial e Industrias y Oficios Artesanales, y el Instituto de Fomento (Info), que fijará el nuevo marco jurídico para garantizar la protección de productos artesanos.
Este nuevo marco jurídico otorgará, no solo un reconocimiento oficial del vínculo de estos productos con su origen geográfico, reflejando su identidad cultural y tradición, sino que también concederá derechos colectivos de propiedad industrial e intelectual a los productores. Con ello, se garantizará una mayor protección frente a imitaciones y usos no autorizados, fortaleciendo su presencia en los mercados.
“Este reglamento no solo da respuesta a una demanda histórica de los sectores artesanos e industriales, sino que también abre la puerta a un nuevo escenario de oportunidades económicas para nuestros productores”, destacó la consejera.
En este sentido, los sectores artesanos incluidos en el decreto son el Belén de Murcia, el Mueble de Yecla, el Vidrio de Cartagena, la Teja de Valentín, el Esparto de Blanca, el Yute de Caravaca de la Cruz, la Cerámica de Totana y Lorca, y la Jarapa también de este municipio.
Otro de los puntos destacados de la sesión, fue la actualización del Repertorio de Oficios Artesanos de la Región de Murcia, con la incorporación del oficio de elaborador de Kombucha y otras bebidas naturales no alcohólicas, atendiendo al auge de este tipo de productos y a la consolidación de empresas artesanas especializadas.
Durante el Consejo Asesor también se concedió la Carta de Maestro Artesano Honorífico a Francisco Salas, en reconocimiento a su trayectoria, experiencia y dedicación al fomento de la artesanía. Salas es director de la Casa del Artesano de Lorca. En este sentido, López Aragón destacó que “la labor de los maestros artesanos, contribuye a preservar el conocimiento tradicional y transmitirlo a nuevas generaciones”.
Asimismo, se informó del estado de tramitación de las convocatorias de subvenciones dirigidas a artesanos individuales y asociaciones para producción, calidad, comunicación y comercialización y para actuaciones promovidas por asociaciones artesanas como la participación en ferias, exposiciones o cursos especializados.
Por último, se abordó la actual edición de los Premios Regionales de Artesanía, a la que se han presentado 49 candidaturas, que optan a las ocho categorías disponibles. Estos galardones, de carácter institucional, reconocen la excelencia, creatividad e innovación en el sector, y permiten el acceso a los Premios Nacionales de Artesanía convocados por el Ministerio de Industria, Comercio y Turismo.
