El ‘Artesanía Market Fest’ en Cartagena y la presencia de artesanos en ferias dentro y fuera de la Región de Murcia son algunas de las iniciativas destacadas
La Consejería de Empresa, Empleo y Economía Social, a través de la Dirección General de Impulso al Comercio, Innovación Empresarial e Industrias y Oficios Artesanales, ha impulsado una batería de acciones estratégicas para dar visibilidad a la artesanía regional durante el verano mediante su integración en la oferta turística, comercial y cultural. Así lo dio a conocer hoy la consejera de Empresa, Empleo y Economía Social, Marisa López Aragón, durante una comparecencia en la Asamblea Regional.
Entre las iniciativas previstas destaca la segunda edición del ‘Artesanía Market Fest’, que se celebrará en Cartagena los días 18 y 19 de julio, coincidiendo con el Festival Internacional La Mar de Músicas. Este evento reunirá a 18 artesanos de distintos oficios y especialidades en un mercado al aire libre donde también se llevarán a cabo actividades paralelas en el Centro de Artesanía de Cartagena, como visitas guiadas, exposiciones interactivas y sorteos de productos artesanos. “Esta acción responde a una planificación inteligente, aprovechando la afluencia masiva de visitantes nacionales e internacionales para poner en valor la artesanía regional como lo que es, un producto exclusivo, auténtico y con un gran potencial comercial”, explicó López Aragón.
Además, en julio y agosto, el Centro Regional de Artesanía de Murcia desarrollará una programación especial de talleres infantiles como alternativa de ocio y cultura durante las vacaciones. Las actividades acercarán a los más pequeños a oficios como la alfarería, el mimbre, la marroquinería o la panadería, e inculcar así el conocimiento y el aprecio por los oficios tradicionales entre los escolares. “Fomentar el interés por la artesanía entre las nuevas generaciones es también invertir en su futuro y en el de los oficios artesanos”, destacó la consejera.
Además, los tres centros regionales de artesanía, Murcia, Cartagena y Lorca, permanecerán abiertos durante todo el verano, para facilitar la venta directa de productos y permanecer, también en fechas estivales, como un escaparate real para el trabajo de los artesanos en plena temporada turística.
Por otro lado, gracias a la convocatoria de subvenciones regionales, muchos artesanos individuales y empresas artesanas participan en ferias y mercados dentro y fuera de la Región de Murcia, como el mercadillo de Plaza Bohemia en La Manga; el de Lo Pagán; el Mercado de la Sal en San Pedro del Pinatar; el Mercado de San Juan o la Mostra de Artesanía de Altea.
Marisa López Aragón detalló que “desde el Gobierno regional apoyamos con hechos la proyección y comercialización del trabajo artesanal con medidas concretas, inversiones reales y una estrategia clara de posicionamiento”, y añadió que “la artesanía, entendida como un sector vivo e innovador, forma parte de la identidad y del motor económico regional, con capacidad de generar empleo, riqueza y marca territorial”.
